Satin coutil overbust corset, with an internal layer of drill cotton and a lining in either cotton or satin. All of our corsets are fully steel boned, and are made with coutil. Satin coutil is strong and durable, and will give you ultimate cinching power. A mixture of flat and spiral steel boning is used for every corset, with a standard busk (please ask us about using wider busks or specialist busks, such as diamante, or flat black!) at the centre front. All corsets lace at the centre back through two part eyelets, which are supported by flat steel bones. The number of bones used varies with the size of the corset. As a rule of thumb, we use 1 steel bone per inch at the waist. Corsets are made with a 2' lacing gap. This should be even from top to bottom, for comfort of the wearer and to help distribute stress evenly on the corset itself. This corset is semi-custom, that is, we have drafted the pattern already and will make adjustments to the same to accommodate your figure. This corset is 'short' on the hip, however it will still control your tummy and is comfortable to wear for long periods. The corset Tia is wearing also has a new feature, which cannot be seen. On the right hip, there is an embroidery of a tribal bat in three colours, chosen to her specifications. We will be offering custom small embroideries as an option very, very soon. |
