"Steampunk" is a new subculture, which has grown out of a love of Victoriana and fantastical literature, such as Jules Verne and H. G. Wells. A wealth of modern literature, RPGs, films and music has evolved around a nucleus of people with a genuine love of eras past, resulting in an exciting new fashion direction, whose only rule seems to be 'fashion that should have been, but never was'.
As a result of a great deal of interest from the new Steampunk movement, and customer requests at steampunk conventions in the UK, we have started a collection of signature pieces around which one can build a Steampunk wardrobe. Much of this is simple re-styling of classic pieces, and some will be new designs.

Quick and Dirty Steampunk FAQ
1. What's with the goggles? Might as well ask a cybergoth the same thing! They're an accessory, pure and simple. Wearing them on your hat is a cool look, if a little cliched.
2. Do I have to wear brown? No. Brown is worn as homage to the sepia tones of surviving photographs, but we're talking about a fashion which takes elements of modern and old and mixes them. Wear any colour you like!
3. Brown, pith helmets, weird weapons - it isn't really for me... what do I do? This is fashion, it's not serious. You don't have to like it, you don't have to wear it.

5. Do I have to have a persona? No. Some people enjoy having a persona, creating the fashion and accessories to go with the persona. Others just like the look, and don't create a persona. A persona is not a necessity.
